ASUAF provides funding for individual students and clubs traveling to competitions and conferences once per semester through an application and selection process. Travel application deadlines and application review are conducted by the Finance Committee.
Every semester, the Student Leadership and Involvement Office (SLI) offers ‘Officer Training’ to club officers from each student organization on campus. Representatives from each club get together to learn about club funding, marketing techniques for clubs, and other opportunities available to student organizations. At least one Officer Training must be attended by a club representative each semester in order for clubs to receive recognition and be eligible to apply for club funding.
Once a student organization is recognized, they are eligible to funding and representation through the ASUAF Club Council. Funds allocated from ASUAF can be used for any club activities such as accommodations, events, and meetings.
ASUAF provides funding to over 140 Clubs and Organizations.
